here are some of the distinguishing points to look for. |

It is easier to pull the motor and transmission
as one piece. The original lift hooks were still on the motor making it
easier. |

The buck tag on the fender has a 22L meaning the
car was built in November 1967, and has a corresponding C7ME-A
block. |

Located on the side of the block is a stamped build date
this particular car is stamped 7L 9E. This represents a build date
of November 9, 1967: - In sequence the first number indicates the
calendar
year, the second number refers to the month (there is no I),
the
third number refers to the day (the 9th)., the fourth digit (E) is the
engineering part # or the service part #, the E denotes engine power train and chassis engineering.
