Starting to take shape very nicely!

The interior - dash wires were cleaned, heater box installed, new carpet and underlayments - the tach and oil pressure pod are yet to be installed.  In case you are wondering we haven't forgotten to restore the steering wheel it is still a work in progress!!

The original dash pad was saved and re-dyed.

With the headliner in place it's time to install the front and rear glass!

Before reinstallation the rear panels and Shelby package tray were dyed.

After installing the gas tank, the trunk mat and underlayment can be put into place. As noted in the picture the rear of this car is now very near completion.

Points to note: the original dealership tag was still with the car; also 65 Shelby's came with a standard Mustang gas cap!

We were lucky enough to be able to use the original upper control arms which were totally refurbished.  The lowers were reproductions, and  a replacement  NOS set was purchased.

The early 65 Shelbys had "over ride" traction bars and a 9 inch rear end.

The engine bay is ready for some big things to happen!!!

This shot exemplifies the detail that is hidden underneath these cars!
