Don't waste any time in sending parts off for Chrome or
Plating it may take up to 6 months or longer before you see them again.
Don't forget to make a detailed list of anything that leaves your
"control" so you
know
where it went.

|
Door latches cadmium plated and the spacers are
anodized. (Trivia - if you look in the middle of the striker you will see they
are date stamped - these are stamped 5-67). |

|
Trunk lock assembly, latch and gas line clamps
are cadmium plated. Do not cadmium plate the gas filler neck/tube
as it is made of lead and should remain al la natural! |

|
Trap door latches, cadmium plated. |
 |
Fold down seat trim (15 pieces) are re-chromed.
Re-chroming original is always preferred over aftermarket. |
 |
Vent windows are made of "Pot Metal"
and can also be re-chromed. With new rubber installed during
assembly. |
 |
Gas cap can be sent off to be
re-chromed. |
 |
Exhaust hangers. |
 |
Emergency brake accessories. |
 |
Front parking light accessories - anodized.
License plate light is a combination of cadmium and anodized. |
 |
Always keep an eye out for items you might be
missing (make a list if necessary). I was missing one power
steering pump bracket and I found two, they were already plated and at
$10 each what a deal!! |
